16 to 19 year olds train for FREE at ALD Hair, Beauty & Barbering Training Academy on
Study Programme.

ALD are offering their Beauty programme which will consist of students working towards their Beauty Therapy NVQ level 1 qualification combined with Level 2 Cosmetic make-up and counter consultancy. The programme will also include training and enrichment of eyelash extensions and nail extensions.

Students will attend with us for 2 days per week to work towards their VTCT fully recognised certifications.

We'll help source a salon/barber placement for students to attend.

Students will attend our hub for Maths, English, employability, and enrichment.

No Maths or English entry requirements are required to join this course.

free taster sessions are available on Wednesday 30th August 2023 10am to 12pm.

FREE Easter Activities in Hair & Beauty 

For Co Durham/Durham residents

We have exciting news ...

We will be running our Easter Hair & Beauty Fun & Food Activities at Pelton Community Centre which has its own hair/beauty salon as well as the main hall. These sessions are free for Co Durham/Durham residents ages between 9-18 years old.

We'll be running activities such as creating face and hair masks, styling hair, make up, nail art and many more!

A healthy breakfast, dinner and snack will be provided free too!

The sessions will be led by two of our fully qualified tutors with 20 years experience and are fully DBS checked.

The sessions will run on the following dates -

Tues 4th April 11-3

Thurs 6th April 10-2

Tues 11th April 9-1

Thurs 13th April 10-2

Level 3 Hairdressing student loan funded for 19+ Adults

Part time hairdressing training - 2 days per week 9.30am to 2.30pm

A.L.D. Hairdressing Training Academy will be commencing a level 3 hairdressing training course as from January 2023.  The training course will be student loan funded which is an excellent way to tap into funding. Student loan information 

A.L.D. have excellent vocational facilities offering training for small groups

All products and equipment are provided

VTCT fully recognised certification is awarded on completion

Full support 

Entry criteria - students must hold Level 2 hairdressing or the equivalent experience

Students apply for student loan must be aged 19 or over
