Exciting new FREE courses for anyone aged 16 to 19 Years Old!

Free Training in Hairdressing, Barbering & Beauty Therapy

Vocational careers!

We're changing things up at ALD Hair, Beauty & Barber Training Academy and have new courses planned for September 2023 and think the students are really going to enjoy these!

We will be running the following separate programmes-

Hairdressing

Level 1 Hairdressing covering shampoo, blow drying, styling women's hair, colouring hair and more.

Level 2 Hairdressing covering cutting, colouring, set and dress, style & finish and more.

Beauty Therapy

Level 1 Beauty therapy/L2 Beauty cosmetic Make-up and beauty counter consultancy

Covering manicure, pedicure, skin care (facials) make-up, eyelash extensions, Nail extensions and more.

Barbering

Level 2 Certificate in barbering covering cut men's hair, cut facial hair, health & safety, and client consultation.

An example timetable-

Students will attend with us for 2 days per week to work towards their VTCT fully recognised certifications.

We'll help source a salon/barber placement for students to attend.

Students will attend our hub for Maths, English, employability, and enrichment.

No entry requirements for level 1

We have small groups.

All products and equipment will be provided in the salon for students to use.

Travel and bursary may apply subject to household income.

free taster sessions are available on Wednesday 30th August 2023 10am to 12pm.

16-25 year olds - FREE Training in Hair & Beauty or Barbering

Full Time or part time education in the following courses-Level 1 Hairdressing including L2 colouring hair unit

*Level 2 barbering includes Hot towel wet shave

*Level 1 Hairdressing includes colouring hair

*Level 2 hairdressing includes cutting hair

*Combined Level 1 Beauty therapy & Level 2 Cosmetic make up and counter consultancy. Includes enrichment of eyelash extensions and nail extensions.

VTCT Fully recognised certifications

Pre 16 Alternative Education in Hair & Beauty Or Barbering

1 or 2 days per week are available for our Alternative Provision programme.

19+ Adult Learning

*Funded/FREE (Subject to eligibility) Courses coming soon

These will be 1 session per week courses. Days & times are not yet confirmed

L1 Commencing 21st April 2023 - will run Friday's 9.30am to 2.30pm for 3 months. VTCT fully recognised certification is awarded on completion.
L2 Barbering 1 session per week
L2 Classic Eyelash 1 session per week
L3 Hairdressing 1/2 sessions per week
